We offer a range of Divers Alert Network (DAN) training programs to prepare divers of every level to respond to an emergency.

These programs are an excellent complement to the traditional in-water training provided to divers and offer business diversification opportunities to professionals.

DAN OXYGEN TRAINING

Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries Course

This course teaches the techniques of emergency oxygen administration for suspected diving injuries and nonfatal drowning.

Students will learn the fundamentals of recognizing dive injuries and responding to and managing dive emergencies.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TRAINING (DEMP)

Diving Emergency Management Provider Course

The program prepares divers to address multiple problems at once by combining material from the following courses:

  • Basic Life Support

  • CPR and First Aid

  • Neurological Assessment

  • Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries

  • First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries

FIRST-AID TRAINING FOR PROS

Diving First Aid for Professional Divers Course (DFA Pro)

Ideal for dive professionals and other specialists seeking a certification that meets OSHA guidelines for workplace CPR and first aid.

DFA Pro is also approved by ACA, and USCG.

All courses were redesigned, updated and meet the recommendations from the October 2015 Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiac Care issued by the International Liasion Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and American Heart Association (AHA).
